With attention and encouragement, every student’s potential grows. Great teachers make all the difference.

At Brown Bear, we are dedicated to helping every student achieve meaningful progress through personalized guidance and structured learning. Our teachers play a vital role in this mission. We look for educators who are passionate, responsible, and deeply committed to inspiring young writers.

Our Expectations for Teachers

We ask our teachers to:
Focus on students — pay close attention to each learner’s progress, offering guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
Inspire learning — make lessons engaging, enjoyable, and motivating, fostering students’ confidence and love for writing.
Build strong skills — strengthen writing, critical thinking, and organization to help students succeed in school and beyond.

At the same time, we provide teachers with full curriculum support, training resources, and a collaborative team environment to ensure success in every class.

Teaching Opportunities & Flexibility

To learn more about our courses and curriculum structure, please visit the PROGRAMS page.
Our class schedule aligns with student learning times — mainly after-school hours in North America and evenings/weekends in China.

We understand that every teacher has unique strengths and preferences. That’s why our program offers flexibility in teaching assignments:

  • Teachers can choose to teach lower or higher levels based on their expertise and interest.

  • Multiple class times are available, and teachers may select the sessions that best fit their schedule.

  • Before each term begins, we confirm the teaching schedule with every instructor.

  • Teachers can decide whether to teach during a specific term (Fall, Spring, or Summer).

This flexible model allows teachers to maintain balance while engaging meaningfully with motivated students across different levels.
